Adopt-A-Volunteer

This program was designed to support all of our Volunteer Crisis Responders who give of themselves on a monthly basis when they go in to our community and help others who need a friendly face to talk to. All Direct Service Crisis Responders are equipped with a pack of essentials: Blankets, kleenex, kids books and toys, flashlights, hand sanitizers, umbrellas, etc. Each one of our Volunteer Crisis Responders have a pager for access during their shifts. As well our crisis responders travel over the entire county for this position and there is a small mileage reimbursement that we can offer. All of these items allow our volunteer Crisis Responders to help out that little extra bit. When people are at the side of the road after a car crash, its nice to have a blanket to wrap up in to help them feel comfortable. All of the money donated to this program goes directly to keeping our packs fully supplied. So if you feel  you don\'t have the time to meet our commitment for a Volunteer Crisis Responder, then perhaps this is a way you can give back to your community.

We need your help by adopting a volunteer

Your adoption donation of $150 will provide a volunteer with:

Pager
Information Handbook
Training Materials
Mileage
Victim Services Identification i.e.: vest, Id Badge
Reflective band for safety
Flashlight and umbrella
Goodie Bags which consist of:
      -Personal Care Items
      -Small quilt or blanket
      -Hand sanitizer, latex gloves, Kleenex
      -Stuffed toys & games

An ideal opportunity for you to sponsor someone in your immediate community
We will display your name/agency/corporation on our internet site as one of our sponsors (optional for donor)
Certificate of recognition
Tax receipt for income tax purposes
