Adopt-A-VolunteerThis program was designed to support all of our Volunteer Crisis Responders who give of themselves on a monthly basis when they go in to our community and help others who need a friendly face to talk to. All Direct Service Crisis Responders are equipped with a pack of essentials: Blankets, kleenex, kids books and toys, flashlights, hand sanitizers, umbrellas, etc. Each one of our Volunteer Crisis Responders have a pager for access during their shifts. As well our crisis responders travel over the entire county for this position and there is a small mileage reimbursement that we can offer. All of these items allow our volunteer Crisis Responders to help out that little extra bit. When people are at the side of the road after a car crash, its nice to have a blanket to wrap up in to help them feel comfortable. All of the money donated to this program goes directly to keeping our packs fully supplied. So if you feel you don\'t have the time to meet our commitment for a Volunteer Crisis Responder, then perhaps this is a way you can give back to your community.
